Dilly-Clayton
Amidst the gloom of Tuesday there was a bright spot in our village. The parlors of Judge Sage's residence were beautiful with its mantels and windows banked with flowers. The reason of this was the marriage of Miss Ella Clayton to Boyd E. Dilley, Deputy U. S. Clerk at Cincinnati.
They were married at twelve o'clock in accordance with the ritual of the Episcopal Church the bride being of this communion. The beautiful ceremony of marriage with the ring was carried out. Elegant refreshments were served after the ceremony. The bride was the recipient of many beautiful gifts in china and silver. At four o'clock they left for Cincinnati where they will reside in the future; for the present they will board on Eighth street between Race and Elm.

General B. R. Cowan, Miss Jennie Cowan and Mrs. Dr. Charles A. Pauly, of Cincinnati, Dr. and Mrs. Dilatush and Rev. Lyman Fisher, the officiating minister, of Middletown, were the guests from abroad. Leonidas Simonton and wife, Misses Harriet and Mary Drake, R. G. Corwin and wife, Quincy Corwin, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Morris, Miss Clara Hayner, Mrs. William Ritchie, Rev. Marsena Stone, Rev. J. P. and Mrs. Currin and Mrs. R. L. Van Harlingen and daughter, Miss Emma, were the only guests from Lebanon.
