TO THE PUBLIC.
BEWARE OF THE SWINDLER.
A certain William M. WIles and others, have cautioned the public not to buy any glue of me; but have taken care to keep back the real cause of their malicious desing. But the truth is, I trusted them until I could not get paid for my glue, and positively had to refuse to credit them any longer; and what is remarkable, when I wanted my money for the glue, it got bad; if I had not asked for the pay, the glue would still have been good. It is like the Fox with the grapes, they were sour because he could not get them. If William M. Wiles will pay for the glue he has got of me, it would be much more to his credit than swindling me out of my property and then trying to defame my character, but to get any thing out of him, would be like getting butter out of a dog's throat.
