WE DON'T WANT IT.

Senator Oren Will Have Ft. Ancient Made a Permanent Camp for State Malitia [sic]

Columbus, O., April 13.
There were not enough Senators present at 4-o'clock this afternoon to transact any business that required the calling of the roll. A few routine matters were disposed of, and Senator Oren offered the following joint resolution:

"Resolved At the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, That the care and control of Fort Ancient shall be vested in the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Archaeological and Historical Society, who shall hold the lands and property there-on subject to such use as the General Assembly may be law direct and until otherwise provided by law the lands within the Fort shall be the annual camping-ground of the Ohio National Guard. The Adjutant General, the Surgeon General, and Senior Colonel shall be, and are hereby constituted a commission to lay out said encampment, and to have all necessary control and care of the same.

Consideration of the resolution was set for next Wednesday.
