- Jethro Boyd, one of the oldest members of the Shaker community, died last Monday. he was a great horseman and was an active man in the business of the community for many years. He held the office of Elder of the north family a long time.

Jethro Boyd, of the North family, after a brief illness, died, Saturday, the 5th inst., and was buried on the 7th.
