John W. Carson (1844-1922)

J. CARSON DIES AT PLEASANT PLAIN
Had Been In Usual Health - Death Due to a Stroke of Apoplexy

John Carson, aged 77, a highly respected citizen of pleasant Plain died suddenly last Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sam Stiles in Lebanon. Death was probably due to apoplexy as Mr. Carson was enjoying the best of health at the time of his death.
He is survived by his widow and ten children, three of whom, Mrs. Sam Stiles, and Will and Otto Carson are residents of Lebanon. He was the father of eleven children and until two years ago the family circle was unbroken by death.
Funeral services will be held from his residence at Pleasant Plain this afternoon with burial in the Morrow cemetery.
