Bernice Robitzer

Bernice (Murrell) Robitzer, 95, a resident of Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Village since 1991, died Saturday, Sept. 19 , 1998. She was born in Warren County, Ohio on Feb. 3, 1903.
She taught school from 1920-1927 and worked as deputy treasurer for the Warren County Treasurer's Office for 10 years . She later moved to Florida where she worked as secretary for the University of Miami Physics Department. A private burial was held Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Miami Cemetery, Corwin. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27 at the Otterbein-Lebanon Chapel. Memorials are requested to the Otterbein-Lebanon Benevolent Care Fund.
Arrangements by Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.

Charles Robitzer

Charles Robitzer Dies in Hospital After Operation, Rites Saturday

Following an operation at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton last week, Charles Robitzer, aged 67, widely known resident of Waynesville died Thursday at 1 pm, at the hospital.
A native of Cynthiana, Ky., he came to Waynesville in 1904 where he operated the Wayne Ice & Coal company and Wayne Park, one of the playgrounds of the Miami Valley. Robitzer was an active member of the Waynesville Civic Club, Defense Council, Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the McClure Funeral Home in charge of Rev. L.C. Radley. Interment was made in Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Roy Johnson, Schenectady, N.Y.; a son, Frederick, New York City; a brother, Louis, of Cynthiana, Ky., and a grandson, Douglas Johnson, Schenectady, N.Y.

Frederick Robitzer

Robitzer Rites Set For Today
Frederick W. Robitzer, 59, formerly of Waynesville, died Sunday of a heart attack at his home at Lake Hiawatha, Boonton , N.J. He was in the television and radio business.
Surviving are his wife, Bernice, a sister, Mrs Roy Johnson of Wilton,Conn., and his stepmother, Mrs. Jessie Robitzer of Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 am at Oswald Memorial Home with burial in Miami Cemetery, Corwin.

Jessie L. Robitzer

Jessie Robitzer
Mrs. Jessie L. Robitzer, 88, of Quaker Heights, Waynesville, died there Friday, Nov. 4.
She was one of the original owners and operators of Wayne Park, which later became Mill View Park and now is known as Three Centuries.
She was a native of the Roxanna area and was a 60-year member and past worthy matron of Miami Chapter No. 107, Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of Waynesville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Beatrice Johnson of Mirror Lake, N.H.; a sister, Merle Kerns of Cleveland; two grandchildren and three great grandchidren.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday at 2 pm by Rev. L.L. Young at Stubbs-Connor Funeral Home
