Personally appeared before me, the undersigned Judge of the Probate Court
within and for the said County of Warren, John Hafer who being duly sworn,
deposeth and saith that he is more than 21 years of age and has no lawful
wife living. And that Mary J. Smith is more than 18 years of age, and
has no husband living; that she is a resident of the County of Warren
aforesaid; and that he knows of no legal objection to the Marriage contemplated
between him and the said Mary and further this deponent saith not.
Sworn to and subscribed before me,
this 7th day of Aug. 1861
