      " Joseph Keever Ricketts, aged 50, a former resident of Warren County spending the early days of his life near Morrow, died at his home in Dayton Friday night. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the late residence conducted by the Rev. Mr. Huffman with interment in Greencastle.
      Mr. Ricketts was born near Morrow, February 27,, 1849. He enlisted in the regular army January 16, 1873 and served ten years in the capacity of a regular soldier. He was married to Alice Williams on September 25, 1884. To this union was born one son. He was converted under the ministry of Rev. J. E. Hall at Roachester, Ohio in the year 1896. He died as he lived trusting in the Lord. Those who knew hem loved him and found in him Christ-like spirit.
      He is survived by his wife, son and daughter-in-law. He leaves a broth, M. C. Ricketts of Lima, Ohio and two sister, Mrs. M. D. Hizar of Dayton and Mrs. F. A. Daughterty of Lebanon."
