      "... A native of Warren county, Will Eulass spent his young manhood in Lebanon enlisting in the army during the Spanish War. He spent the next thirty years in the service
      "... Following the Spanish War, Mr. Eulass re-enlisted in the army remaining in the service until 1928. He served in both the infantry and marine branches of the service and was on active duty in the Philippines and in Mexico. During the World War he was engaged in training recruits at the marine post at Quantico, Virginia. During the Spanish War he received a commission as second lieutenant and served in that capacity in the Philippine campaign. He resigned his commission at the expiration of this first enlistment and at the time he retired from the service five years ago was a quartermaster-sergeant in the Marine Corps."
