Easton writes,
"From the "Floral Album" my Grandmother, Anna I.
Thomas, used to collect signatures on her graduation from the National
Normal College (?).
Before the work in the Universalist
Cemetery I would have glossed right over the Griest
name....."
"On 14 Feb 1882, Anna I. Thomas wrote a letter asking
for employment as a teacher at Ridgeville, so I would first look for her
to be in the 1882, graduating class." |

Anna,
May flower's blossoms ever strew
Thy path with roses, dipped in dew
And may I, till my life shall end
Be worthy to be called thy friend.
Your Friend,
Anna Griest |

When Time who steals our years away.
Shall steal our pleasures too.
The memory of the past will stay
And half our joys renew.
