"I am particularly interested in Jane Schenck (1802-1888) who married John D. Briney (1798-1882) in Warren Co. OH on 20 Oct 1820. My brother Ron Beatty's notes say that John was buried in Roberts Cem, Mahaska, Co., Iowa. I'll have to see if the stone has her name on it too. She outlived him so maybe there is a will. I haven't been to the Mahaska Courthouse yet. I just visited Iowa two weeks ago. I have a dear Aunt, Eleanor Beatty Strait in Keosauqua, Van Buren County. I went up for the September meeting of the Van Buren Co. Genealogical Society."

I am researching the Moses Taylor family, and that of his wife and in-laws, the Shinn family. Moses died in 1823 in Warren County. His son, Thomas Shin Taylor lived in Madison, IN and Warren County. The Shinns, Jane Shinn and her daughter, Martha Shinn Taylor, were from Burlington County, New Jersey.

I am in search for info. on Celia Smith. Am wondering if her parents were Isaac W. Smith & Mary (Hampton) Smith. She was supposed to have been born in Warren Co. Ohio. She could have been my Grandfather's sister. His name was Clarence Alvin Smith son of Parents named above too.
