Steyer "Al" Steyer asked the boys to sign this ball at the banquet after he gave them a pep talk because many said they were going to call it quits! Steyer, the company pilot for C. S. Clark, Jr. and billiard playing friend of C. S Clark, Sr. became a "director" of the Wakeman Baseball club after Clark, Sr. asked him to take his place on the board.
