The State Of Ohio Williams County Common Pleas October (unreadable) A.D. 1835

To Ephraim Doty, George Robinson and Enos Partee of the County and State aforesaid

Greetings you are hereby appointed and empowered to take an inventory of all the personal property of the Estate of Thomas J. Prettyman late of the County aforesaid deceased of which he died (unreadable ?"seized"?) to be shown unto you by Woolery Coonrod and Jacob Coy administrators of the said Estate of the aforesaid deceased and truly and justly to appraise the same according to the present value thereof in money according to your best judgement upon oath and return of same under your hands and (unreadable…"seal"? "swear") to this Court of Common Pleas within three months from the date hereof together with this warrant and likewise to deliver a copy of the inventory to the said administrators witness David Higgins Resident Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of the County aforesaid (unreadable) October the 6th A.D., 1835 John Evans Clerk.

To the honorable judges of the Court of Defiance in a Request of you Concerning the Estate of my Husband and Matters Standing of Leave Maid a Chois of My administrators and my apprasors of sich Jacob Coy Esq and Wolrey Conrad as administrators and John Snider and George Robinson and John Coy as aprasors the one handy and acquainted with my inabilitys of attending to business myself.

Know all men by these presents that we Woolery Coonrod & Jacob Coy principals of John Coy Adam Coy & John Snider there security all of the County of Williams and State of Ohio are held & firmly bound unto the state of Ohio in the Final sum of five thousand dollars lawful money of the United States for the payment of which we and each of us severally and jointly bind ourselves our heirs executors and adminsitratos firmly severally and jointly by these presents this 6th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five.

Now the condition of the above bond is such that where as Woolery Coonrod & Jacob Coy were appointed administrators of the Estate of Thomas Prettyman Deceased by the Court of Common Pleas of said County on the sixth day of October AD 1835. Now Know ye that if the said Woolery Coonrod and Jacob Coy faithfully and impartially do and perform & disclaim all and singular the duties of administrators on said Estate according to the law then & in that case this bond shall be void & of no Effect in law or Equity otherwise to be & remain in full force & virtue in Law. H. Lepins Master Commissioner in Clemency for Williams County whom the papers filed by Woolery Coonrod and Jacob Coy administrators of the Estate of Thomas Prettyman deceased were (unreadable), having examined the same funds that said administrators (unreadable) of said estate: $2580.57

That they have paid out from said estate: 1267.25

Leaving in their hands 1313.32

From which deduct & hold for settling said Estate

Which amounts to 154.83

Due from Adms. $1157.49

All of which is respectfully submitted

H. Lepins Master in Clemency

 

 

Jacob Coy & Woolery Coorod the said administrators now come & except to the report of Master Commissioner in this case for the following counsel to wit:

1st Said Master has not allowed or passed upon the account of the said Jacob Coy for time & money expended in settling said Estate.

2nd That the account of the said Woolery Coonrod filed as such administrator for services & expenses in settling the business of said estate does not appear to have been passed upon or allowed by said Master in his said report.

Therefore the said Jacob Coy & Woolery Coonrod pray that said report may be set aside & that said papers deferred to a Special Master to report etc.
