Before me Benjamin Miller a Justice of the Peace in the aforesaid county personally appeared the above named Joseph P. Robinson who made solemn oath that this is justly due on the above account the sum of one hundred & sixty eight dollars & thirty two cents that no payments have been made thereon & that there are no offsets against the same except certain notes given by me to said George Robinson deceased now in the possession of E. D. Bradley admin.

Joseph P. Robinson

Know all men by these presents that we Josiah N. Bennett and Edward D. Bradley of Williams County Ohio, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Ohio, in the penal sum of Five Thousand Dollars for the payment of which, we hereby jointly and severally bind ourselves. Sealed with our seals and dated this Ninth day of April, AD 1855.

Whereas the said ____ has this day been appointed administrators of the estate of George Robinson, late of this county, deceased: Now the condition of this obligation is as follows:

First that the said Josiah N Bennett and Edward D. Bradley shall make and return into court, on oath, within three months, a true inventory of all moneys, goods, chattels, rights, and credits of the deceased, which have or shall come to their possession or knowledge; and also if required by the court, an inventory of the real estate of the deceased.

Secondly to administer according to law, all the moneys, goods, chattels, rights and credits of the deceased, and the proceeds of all his real estate, that may be sold for the payment of his debts, which shall at any time come to the possession of the administrators, or any other person for them.

Thirdly to render upon oath, a true account of their administration, within eighteen months, and at any other time when required by the court or the laws.

Fourthly to pay any balance remaining in their hands upon the settlement of their accounts, to such persons as the court or law shall direct.

Fifth to deliver the letters of administration into court, in case any will of the deceased shall be thereafter duly approved and allowed.

Upon compliance of all of the above conditions, this obligation to be void, otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue in law.

To all to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting:

Know Ye, That the Probate Court within and for said county, doth hereby grant the administration of the estate of George Robinson late of Williams County Ohio, deceased, unto Josiah N. Bennett and Edward D. Bradley who are hereby fully empowered and authorized to administer all and singular the goods, chattels, moneys, rights, and credits of said deceased George Robinson and also all the proceeds of all the real estate of said deceased, which they may hereafter be authorized to sell; to collect all the debts due to and pay those due from said estate, so far as its means will extend and the law require, and to do all things which may be lawfully done in the premises, to effect the just and speedy settlement of said estate.

In testimony whereof, the seal of said court is hereunto affixed. Witness Joshua Dobbs, Judge of said court, this 9th day of April, AD 1855.

The note against Jacob Coy mentioned in the inventory was not collected by reason of the insolvency of said Coy.

The two notes against Samuel Ames were not collected by reason of said Ames having valid offsets against the same.

The note against Elias Deatrick was not collected by reason of the same having been paid during the lifetime of the decedent as was satisfactorily proved to these administrators.

The note against Adam Alinger and Adam Gardner has not been collected but was claimed by Joseph P. Robinson, and upon satisfactory proof made to this accountant was delivered to him.

The note against George Robinson mentioned in the inventory has not been collected by reason of said George Robinson being one of the heirs of the decedent, and entitled to a distribution share of said estate.

The note against Thomas Robinson mentioned in the inventory has not been collected by reason of the death of said Thomas Robinson and his estate being in the hands of his administrator who has made no payments on the same.
