I have Elizabeth Folk who had disappeared before her father died and her daughter, my Great Grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Shellhart Cripliver Harbaugh was there to receive it. Her father was Daniel Shellhart. I am looking for Information on Isaac Jacob or Jacob Isaac FOLK of West Jefferson Twp in Williams County and his family, Elizabeth? last name? daughter Elizabeth m. to Daniel Shellhart. Aaron, Daniel and other siblings. I have some information sent to me about Daniel and Sara Kintigh from Milton Cook in California. I had heard this story that my Great Grandmother's Elizabeth FOLK's sister was abducted by Indians and that she was 11 when this happened. Does anyone know if there was any newspaper articles about it. Sorry I have no idea when it happened. Also had heard that Elizabeths father died while he was looking for her. What tribes were around out there in Williams county in the 1820s am thinking that also they might have taken Elizabeth also since she had disappeared when her fathers will was read.

Preston and Ellen Rebecca Miller. I would like to know as much as possible about the community, events, places, people, weather, activities, that might have been going on during this period. They left immediately for their homestead near Deer Lodge, Montana Territory. (They are my 2nd great-grandparents, by the way.) Would like photocopies of newspapers, including ads, activities, etc. Anything from the period appreciated. Can send printed info to Bill Smith, P. O. Box 2003, Emporia, KS 66801. Even a single page each sent by several people would be nice. Willing to share copies of writing, if interested. Obviously interested in contact with other researchers of these and any nearby families, also, of course. Thanks for anything you can send.
