I cannot find anything out on her mother and father.  Could you help me find out who her parents were and her siblings. I was told her mother died ??? when she was very young. Then her father remarried to ???  then he died ??? . Then her step mom remarried to ??? and her new husband would not let her step children live with them. This is what I was told. But nobody could give me any names.

Shelly, familia@sprintmail.com, May 17, 2000 - BILLOW

I need your help...

I have "rescued" an old photograph of Lottie BILLOW but I haven't been able

to find any living relatives.  The photograph was taken at a studio in

Bryan, OH, likely sometime in the 1880's when Lottie was an infant. I'd like

to find Lottie's family and return the photograph.

Nicky, HALAL00@aol.com, May 29, 2000 - MERCHANT, etc.

I had a great-grandaunt that I would like to know more about. Her name was Susanna NORIGON and she married a Isaac Thomas MERCHANT, born in 1840 in Williams Co., Edon, Florence Twp. I know that Isaac moved to Tuscarawas Co. and married Susanna in 1869 because of the marriage and census records. However, Isaac, died young, in 1883 and is buried at the West Union Cemetery in Ulrichesville, Tuscarawas Co. Ohio. Susanna MERCHANT is still living in Tuscarawas Co. in the 1900 census with one child, William MERCHANT, age 20. Susanna disappears after 1900, and I would like to know what happened to her. Since, Isaac was born in Williams County, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the Merchant family, that might give me a clue to Susanna? I know that Isaac's parents were James MERCHANT and Hannah CONDON. Thanks for any help.

Allen Langstrom, shadow8@mailhost.kal.ameritech.net, July 7, 2000 - VAN WORMER, etc.

Matthew VanWormer lived in St. Joseph twp.  as early as 1850, probably earlier.  Had a very large family.  Married Polly Westbrook.  Polly buried in Edgerton.  My ancestor is their dtr Emeline, b. 1824.  Married Nathaniel VanOrder in LaPorte, IN 1846.  Nathaniel and Emeline VanOrder had 3 sons: Americus b. 1848, Henry b. 1851(2), Charles b. 1854(5).  It appears that Emily traveled back home to be with her parents at the timeof each of the three births.  Multiple records indicate that Emily's sons were all born in Williams County OH.   Looking for the location of the family farm, burial place of Matthew VanWormer and his dtr Emeline VanWormer VanOrder Olmsted.  Any Help greatly appreciated.
