Kathy Davismail137668@pop.net, March 31, 2000  - PALMER - RICHIE/RITCHEY - SICKLES - STOCKWELL

Orsamus A. PALMER, my 2nd. great grandfather, was born in Canada in 1812. He married Elisabeth E. STOCKWELL. She was born in 1822 in NY. I do not know where or when they were married. Their first child Mannery Butler "Emery" PALMER was born Sept. 2, 1844 in Williams Co. He married Margaret Melvina RICHIE, daughter of William RICHIE and Mary SICKLES. Margaret was born March 14, 1855 in Williams Co. Orsamus and Elisabeth had a second son named Sidney (?) b. 1848 in Steuben Co., IN. Sidney was listed on the 1850 census, but not on the 1860 census, so we think he may have died. Searching for Orsamus's parents name and related family. Family names I am searching for are PALMER, RICHIE, (also spelled RITCHEY by other descendants), and SICKLES.
