Note: "On January 12, 1841 the Methodist Episcopal Church in Belle Vernon bought Lots 24 and 26 on the east side of Portland St., 150 feet north of Bucyrus Street from David Curlis. This plot was to include a cemetery. A Church was built but was torn down, the belfry bell being preserved. July 14, 1854 the Trustees of this church bought from John Bope Lot 22 just south of the original purchase. On this a small cottage for the minister was built." From Ghosts and Living, 1988 page 123

Subject: 2 small stones no info
Are these stones up front of the cemetery to the left of the bell? When I was a child, my mother and I would always stop and put flowers in front of the stones. She had told me that they were her babies. Twin boys that were delivered but were blue babies. I was up there last May and saw that the stones were nubbed almost to the ground.
