November 13 Meeting Details
During the 6:30 Beginnerís Corner portion of the meeting, those present will learn the basics of beginning genealogy. Rita Bibles, President of the organization, will discuss the genealogy records available at the Court House and will provide advice when performing military research.
During the 7:00 Regular Meeting, Steve King, an experienced genealogist with the Tulsa Genealogical Society, will discuss ďAmerica Goes West - Steamboats and Waterways", a look at how our ancestors migrated westward using the country's natural waterways as a means of inland transportation.

Ask a Genealogist Day
Generally on the third Saturday of each month (unless rescheduled when Library is closed), a BGS member is available in the Local and Family History Room of the Bartlesville Public Library from 9 am until 4 pm. You can ask questions and receive suggestions to resolve a research challenge.
