A list of the Adair county boys who made the supreme sacrifice in the World War has just been relased by the Oklahoma State Council of Defense and is as follows:

Killed in action: Dennis BUTLER, James W. FIELDS, Ras CARDEN, Jesse D. BLAKEMORE, Ellis STEP, John Jackson REEVES, David D. SHELL and Frank COON of Stilwell; Bill KETCHER, Roy G. BEAVERS, Watts; Bernard Lester HICKS, Harley BERNARD, James A. ALLEN and Thomas R. CRITTENDEN, Westville; David B. SHELL, Baron; James F. MATLOCK, Lyons.

Died in training camp: Richard SELLERS, George HOPPER and Jake BUNCH, Stilwell; Arch Yell SELLERS, Westville; Yute STARR, Church; Steve BEAVER, Bunch; Sam BEAVER, Lyons.

Mission in action: John COCHRAN and Henry LOCUST, Westville.
