Funeral services for Leslie Paul RANSFORD, Sr., 69, of Crescent, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Abernathy Funeral Home Chapel in Crescent. Rev. Mark LeMarr will officiate the service, with interment in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery, south of Crescent. All arrangements are under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent. He was born August 29, 1921 in Guthrie to Roy and Lily MARTIN RANSFORD. He died October 1 at Crescent Care Center. He married Jewell NEAL in 1945 in Vallejo, Calif. He is survived by his wife, Jewell, of Napa Valley, Calif.; two sons, Leslie Paul Jr., and Michael Roy; one daughter, Darlene Jewell; four brothers, John Roy, Francis Eugene, William Martin and Robert Dale; two sisters, Vivian and Mae; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Kathryn Irene WILDMAN, 88, of Guthrie will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Baggerly Memorial Chapel, in Edmond. Interment will be at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond. She was born December 22, 1901 in Meridain to B.J. SHOPE and Nettie HUTCHINS SHOPE. She died October 1 in Perryton, Texas. She married Lawrence WILDMAN, of Edmond, May 26, 1928. He died in 1970. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Thelma and Tom; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Mrs. WILDMAN was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and three brothers.

Funeral services for Marcellus L. OWENS Sr., 70 year old Guthrie resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the First National Baptist Church, with Rev. Hersey Hammons officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. He was born December 7, 1919 in Crescent to James and Bethel OWENS. He died October 3 at his residence. Survivors include; five sons, Melvin, Maurice, Marcellus Jr., Marcus, and Marvin; three daughters, Merland, Claudia and Marshelle; five brothers, Lester, John M., Savador, James G. Jr., Emerson; three sisters, Betherine, Vera Dean and Elnora; 29 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Leroy OWENS, and one sister, Doris MITCHELL.

Funeral services for Carl Naomi (BURCH) SMITH, 30, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Living God Temple No. 86, 720 South Hazel St., Guthrie. Elder Frank Ponder will officiate the service with burial at Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Pollard Funeral Home Inc., of Guthrie. Carol was born January 7, 1960, to Archie and Cleo BURCH. She married Floyd SMITH. She is survived by her husband, Floyd; two daughters, Stephanie and Charietta; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. BURCH; four sisters, Ruby, Brenda, Archietta, and Sharon; four brothers, Vernal, Archie Jr., Elton and Samuel; a father-in-law, James; four brothers-in-law, a dear friend, Lois; a great aunt, Blanche; 10 uncles, 10 aunts, nine nephews, 13 nieces, and a host of other relations and friends.

Funeral services for Wilbur Houston RAY, 80, of Crescent, were held at 2 p.m. today at Abernathy Funeral Home Chapel. Services were officiated by Rev. Randy Beeman, with burial at South IOOF Cemetery. All arrangements were under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent. He was born July 1, 1910 in Lovell, Okla. to John H. and Anna R. "STINE" RAY. Mr. RAY died October 7 in Oklahoma City. He married Florence Ivy "DOGGETT" July 28, 1935 in Orlando. He is survived by his wife, Florence, of the home; two sons, George and Leo and wife, Judith; two daughters, Faye and husband Joe, and Fern; a sister, Odessa; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Edgar RAY.

Funeral services are scheduled for Ronald S. McCUBBIN Sr., 84, of Edmond, at 2 p.m. Oct. 12 at Leland Clegg Memorial United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City with Rev. Kathy Leithner officiating. Burial will be at Victor Cemetery in Mulhall under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond. Mr. McCUBBIN was born June 23, 1906 in Guthrie to Clifford Fields McCUBBIN and Minnie Edna (LEACH). He died Oct. 9 in Edmond. He is survived by one son, Ronald S. Jr.; two sisters, Nettie and Minnie Lee; one sister-in-law, Alma and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Lorrane McCUBBIN Sept. 24, 1990.

Funeral services for former Mulhall resident, Joseph P. MILLER, 80, of Anadarko, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anadarko. Father Mike Wheelahan will officiate the service with burial at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko. All arrangements are under the direction of Steverson Funeral home of Anadarko. He was born October 10, 1909 in Enid to John H. MILLER and Tresa "DEVERY." He died October 8 at Colonial Estates Nursing Home in Shawnee. He married Erma Blanche GREGORY July 13, 1943 in Enid. He is survived by two daughters, LaDonne and Sue; two sisters, Nellie and Margaret; one brother, Jim; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, who died January 2, 1989, and his parents.

Funeral services for Samuel Lawrence "Sam" PAGE, 81, of Coyle are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Coyle. Rev. Clarence Armstrong will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. He was born Nov. 7, 1908 in Fairmont, W.V., to F.G. and Isabell Reece PAGE. He died Oct. 10, 1990 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. He married Lola SMITH in Oakland, Maryland on Nov. 8, 1933. He is survived by his wife, Lola, of the home; two sons, John and William; a brother, Cecil; a sister, Mary; three grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Marlan was born Oct. 2, 1933 in Hardesty, Oklahoma, to Otis and Rosetta HOWE. He died Oct. 10, 1990 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. He is survived by his wife, Cleta, of the home; one son, Ron and his wife, Carol; his mother, Rosetta; one sister, Delores and her husband, Leroy; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his father, Otis in 1972.

Funeral services for former Coyle resident Cora E. ALLISON, 89, Hutchinson, Kan. will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Chapel, in Hutchinson. Rev. Nell Holmes will officiate the services with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery also in Hutchinson. She was born May 19, 1901 in Coyle to James William DOWNEY and Mary Louise VENTRIS. Mrs. ALLISON died October 14 in South Hutchinson. She married Tolbert W. ALLISON December 8, 1917 in Stillwater. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1985. She is survived by four sons, Lester, Otes, Robert, and Ray; six daughters, Vera, LaVina, Mae, Marie, and Nell and LaVeta; 23 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services for Clifford Joe (Jack) FRIDAY, 76, of Guthrie will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Memory Gardens Cemetery. He was born Dec. 22, 1913 in Bohanon, Texas, to James W. and Edna May FRIDAY. He died October 15, 1990 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He married Hazel L. SMITH, April 1, 1947 at Yuma, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Hazel; three sons, Clifford Joe Jr., John William, Charles Richard; three step-sons, Fred R., Joseph, and James H.; a brother, Wilbur, a 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.

Funeral services for J. Fred LATHAM, 99, of Guthrie will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bethleham Baptist Church, Oklahoma City. Rev. Bill D. McCarthy will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Guthrie. Mr. LATHAM was born on August 2, 1891 in Ardmore, Indian Territory to Robert and Alma LATHAM. He died October 15, 1990 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center in Guthrie. He is survived by a son, Wallace and his wife, Anzonetta; a daughter, Grace E.; a sister, Winnie; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace, on October 15 1979.

Graveside funeral services for Bonnie Alice MITCHELL, 83, of Guthrie, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Summit View Cemetery. Dr. Larry Stevens will officiate the ceremony and burial is under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. MITCHELL was born March 30, 1907 in Missouri to John C. and Nellie (TETERS) WALLACE. She died October 14, 1990 at Golden Age Nursing Center. She married Rue B. MITCHELL, January 18, 1927 in Enid. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1984. She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Jo; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and five great step-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Fannie Ann BRUMMETT, 82, of Edmond, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Baggerly Funeral Home, in Edmond. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City. She was born September 15, 1908 in Mayetta, Kan., to Henry and Lucy GOSSET. Mrs. BRUMMETT died October 17 in Oklahoma City. She married Verne Lloyd BRUMMETT in February 1930. He, along with a son, Robert Lloyd, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Frank; son, and daughter-in-law, Verne E. And Shirley; three sisters, Ruth, Esther, and Gertrude; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Graveside funeral services for F.O. "Bud" CANTRELL, 78, of Edmond, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Oklahoma City. Rev. Floyd Buckley will officiate the service, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. He was born October 5, 1912 in Dalhart, Texas to John and Evalou CANTRELL. Mr. CANTRELL died October 17 at Edmond Nursing Center. He is survived by one brother, Roy; seven sisters, Jessie, Margie, Theo, Pearl, Thelma, JoAnn, Gertie. Mr. CANTRELL was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.

Funeral services for Velva Allillee FOLTZ, 79, of Guthrie, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Leon McDowell will officiate the service, with burial at Harmony Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie. She was born February 17, 1911 in Logan County to Tom and Myrtle ANTHONY. Mrs. FOLTZ died October 17 at Midwest City Regional Hospital in Midwest City, Okla. She is survived by three sons, Joe, Donald and Johnny; six daughters, Eloise, Opal, Lola, Roberta, Crissie, and Karen; two brothers, George, and James; six sisters, Ruth, Minnie, Lorene, Naomi, Pauline, and Dorothy; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John FOLTZ, in 1974, her parents, one sister and one grandson.

Funeral services for Leonard E. AILEY, 78, of Tonkawa, will be 2 p.m. Monday in the First Christian Church of Tonkawa. Rev. John Burnett will officiate and burial will be I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Tonkawa. He was born Jan. 19, 1912, in DePew, Oklahoma, and died Friday, Oct. 19, 1990, at Blackwell Regional Hospital. He married Emma MULLINS on Sept. 30, 1933 in Bristow, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Emma, five daughters, two sons, four brothers, a sister, 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. AILEY was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McCasserty-Bolick Funeral Home of Tonkawa.

Graveside services for Floy EWY, Ponca City, will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry. Rev. Wayne Majors will officiate the burial will be directed by Davis Funeral Home of Guthrie. Mrs. EWY was born Jan. 13, 1896 in Advance, Missouri, the daughter of Jacob and Ada (FORD) STEPHENS. She died Oct. 19, 1990 in Ponca City. She is survived by three sons, John, Cecil, and Wayne; four daughters, Lois, Esther, Treva and Velma; two brothers, three sisters, 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Mrs. EWY was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, three brothers and three sisters.

Robert McMasters officiated the service, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. She was born February 6, 1899 in Emet, Okla., to Wesley and Flora WARD. Mrs. COOK died October 19 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by one nieces, Ada Estelle; seven great nieces; two great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. COOK, who died September 18, 1970, her parents, four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services for former Crescent resident, Georgia H. GOOD, 75, of Hayes, Kan., will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church of Crescent. Rev. Randy Beeman will officiate the service, with interment at Crescent Cemetery, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent. She was born August 27, 1915 in Omogo, Mo., to Charles and Laura Bruce HOUCHIN. Mrs. GOOD died October 18 at her home in Hayes, Kan.

Funeral services for Hugh H. PYEATT, 90, of Guthrie, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Charles Ryser will officiate the service, with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City. All arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. He was born August 28, 1900 in Lincoln, Ark. to James and Stella PYEATT. He died October 21 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Irene, of the home; two sons, Eugene and Richard; two daughters, Leana and Fern; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services for Ruth Irene SMITH, 68, of Meridian, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Rob McElroy will officiate the service, with burial at Meridian Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral home. She was born November 12, 1921 in Meridian to Robert and Averil SMITH. Mrs. SMITH died October 21 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, Stepehn I. and Robert F.; two daughters, Jennie and Janet; one brother, Roy and nine grandchildren. Mrs. SMITH was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold SMITH in 1980.

She was born February 28, 1899 in Potter, Kan., to William and Elizabeth Campbell CALHOUN. She died October 25 at Westlake Nursing Center in Oklahoma City. She is survived by one daughter, Beulah D.; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mrs. RYLAND was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Forrest Z., one daughter and five brothers.

He died October 25 at Veteran's Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Harold F. and Hazel ; one nephew; one niece; and one grand nephew. Mr. HIRZEL was preceded in death by his parents.

He was born September 29, 1927 in El Reno to Benjamin and Amelia BLEHM. Mr. BLEHM died October 29, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Guthrie. He is survived by his wife, Jacquetta, of the home in Cashion; four sons, Chuck and Sandy, Jerry and Marie, Larry and Tammy, and Bill; two daughters, Barbara and Dr. Audie, Fran and Jay; two stepsons, Jerry and Joan, Daryl; a stepdaughter, Carla and Patrick; three brothers, Loren, Jack and Clayton; a sister, Violet and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Ruby; a brother, Irwin; a sister, Ruby GIANETTI; a son, Tom, and a daughter, Charlene.

Funeral services for Clifford M. "Shorty" RODRICK, 61, of Guthrie, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Smith Memorial Chapel, Guthrie, with Rev. Bob Walker officiating the service. Committal services will follow at 3 p.m. at Carnegie Cemetery, Carnegie, Okla. All arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. He was born December 8, 1928 in Caddo County, to Harold and Mattie RODRICK. He died October 29 at his Guthrie home. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of the home; one son, Gregory and wife, Donna; two daughters, Luann and husband, Randy, and Tonia and husband, Pat; two brothers, Roy and Alton.
