Funeral services for Marjorie FITZPATRICK, 75, of Mulhall, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Memorial Chapel. Bryce Fox will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 9, 1914 in Colorado to Ralph and Agnes CHAPMAN. She died Friday at Oak Hill Nursing Home in Jones, Oklahoma, after a lengthy illness. She married Roy FITZPATRICK on Feb. 24, 1935 in Guthrie. She is survived by her husband, Roy, of the home; three sons, Roy Leon, Robert Dale, and William; two daughters, Doris Marie and Norene; a sister, Alice; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral mass for Edveard "Ed" Dayton Hayes, 81, of Guthrie, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Fathers Elmer Robnett and Howard Anthony will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. He was born Jan. 4, 1909 in Logan County to John and Harriett (SHUDON) HAYES and died Feb. 2, in the home of his daughter in Oklahoma City. He married Wanda Lava RANDALL on August 16, 1933 in Coyle. She preceded him in death March 22, 1982. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Fred D. and Barbara, John H. And Barbara; two daughters, Vida Lee and Mrs. Jim (Harriett) Elizabeth; two sisters, Rosa and Bessie; a brother, T.P.; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Mr. HAYES was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister, two half-brothers, and a grandchild.

Funeral services for Bessie Hazel TRIBBLE, 86, of Guthrie, were held today at 2 p.m at the Assembly of God Church. Rev. Don Gatlin, assisted by Rev. C.L.Brown, officiated the ceremony. Burial was in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Bessie was born Oct. 3, 1903 in Luther, Oklahoma, to Joseph and Cordelia (TAYLOR) DONNELL. She died Feb. 3, 1990 in South Community Hospital, Oklahoma City. She married Hershall Tillman TRIBBLE, April 1925 in Guthrie. He preceded her in death in 1953. She is survived by four sons, Calvin, Clifford H., Frank E., and John W.; two daughters, Pearl E. and Rose Marie; a brother, Harvey; five sisters, Lottie, Cordelia, Edith, Opal, and Inez; 14 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Clarence BUSH, 78, were held today in Blythe, Calif. Mr. BUSH was born August 17, 1912 south of Meridian. He later moved to Blythe, Calif. where he died February 1. His survivors include three children, two daughters, a son and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. BUSH was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Ida FRANKLIN and one sister Lily HATHORNE.

Funeral services for former Crescent resident, Ila Mae BARKER, 59, of Virginia Beach, Va., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Central Baptist Church, east of Dover. Rev. Ben Bonnici will officiate. Burial will be at Banner Cemetery, Dover, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent. Mrs. BARKER was born May 16, 1930 in Milo to Woodard and Stella (KYLE) REID. She died February 5 at her residence in Virginia Beach. She married Frank Scott BARKER on May 28, 1948 in Crescent. Mr. BARKER died in October 1982. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara; her sister, Helen; and two grandchildren, Michael and Christopher. In addition to her husband, Mrs. BARKER was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Joseph CLARK, 90, of Langston, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, in Langston. Rev. James H. Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Beulah Land Cemetery under the direction of Pollard Funeral Home Inc., Guthrie. Mr. CLARK was born October 24, 1899 in Maceon, Ga. to Allen and Janey CLARK. He died February 3 at his Langston residence. In 1924 he married Ruth Ruby GAKERS. He is survived by four daughters, Ruby, Vivian, Willie Mae and Margaret; three sons, Paul, Louis and Donald; one sister, Leola; two brothers, Theodore.

Graveside services for Brian David SMITH, 33, of Guthrie will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Starr-Kansas Cemetery, near Piedmond, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Rev. Robbie Robbins will officiate. Mr. SMITH was born December 17, 1956 in Guthrie to William H. and Betty "KENDALL" SMITH. He died February 7 in Edmond. He married Debbie Gail FILLMORE October 20, 1987 in Guthrie. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, of Edmond; his parents William "Bill" and Betty SMITH; brother and sister-in-law, Paul K. and Sandra; sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Larry; a sister, Laura K.; three stepsons, Justin, Nicholas and Jacob. Mr. SMITH was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services for long time Crescent resident, Oklahoma THARP, 82, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday a the First Baptist Church of Crescent. Dr. C. Fred Williams officiate. Burial will be in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent. Mrs. THARP was born November 17, 1907 in Oilton to Jerome and Lillian (HULSEY) BROOKS. She died February 7 at Crescent Care Center. She married Nyle Wilbur THARP July 12, 1926 in Crescent. Mr. THARP died in January 1988. She is survived by a son, Max; a daughter, Madean; a sister, Clara; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. THARP was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services for Alice Oleatha STITZEL, 64, of Guthrie will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Guthrie Christian Church with Gene Warfel officiating. Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. She was born on October 2, 1925 in Navina to John William and Lena EAKINS. She died February 9 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She was survived by three daughters, Trena, Janet, "Dee Dee"; one sister, Precious; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father L.P. "Jack" SHAW; one brother, three half-brothers, her husband, Marvin D. STITZEL Jr. on Dec. 8, 1989, and one grandchild.

Funeral services for Judy CREWS were held February 9 at Saint John's Episcopal Church in Tulsa. Mrs. CREWS was born November 8, 1920. The Rev. David Fox, assisted by Rev. Warren E. Crews, son of Earl and Judy Crews, conducted the funeral mass. She is survived by her husband Earl CREWS; two sons, Rev. Warren and Robert; two brothers, Jack and Robert; grandchildren, Sharon and James.

Funeral services for Harold Arthur "Bud" GARTON, 62, of Crescent, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Abernathy Funeral Chapel, in Crescent. Burial will be in Cashion Cemetery, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home. Mr. GARTON was born September 6, 1927 in Cashion to Frank M. and Mae "HALLENBECK" GARTON. He died February 12 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He is survived by his father, Frank; his brother, Bill; three sisters, Dorothy, Joyce and Mildred. Mr. GARTON was preceded in death by his mother and one brother.

Funeral services for Uilia Pearl WALLACE, 70, of Oklahoma City, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at United Pentecostal Church in Guthrie. Rev. R.D. Whalen and Wayne Chennault will officiate. Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. WALLACE was born February 10, 1920 in Guthrie to Robert and Anna GRAY. She died February 11 at South Park Nursing Home in Oklahoma City. Mrs. WALLACE is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Faunda and George; two brothers, Wilifred and Bobby; three sisters, Elizabeth, Betty and Vera.; one grandson and one foster grandson. Mrs. WALLACE was preceded in death by her husband, Russell WALLACE, her parents, a brother and a sister.

Graveside services were held today for Ethel WHEELER, 93, of Guthrie, at Clarkston Cemetery in Coyle, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Rev. Fred Williams officiated. Mrs. WHEELER was born December 4, 1896 in Brown County, Texas to Jess and Izora "THOMAS" CASEY. She died February 11 at Crescent Care Center in Crescent. She married Henry WHEELER February 25, 1912 in Tricken, Texas. Mr. WHEELER died in October 1975. She is survived by three sons, D.L., Earnest, and Bobby; a daughter, Lena; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and one great grandchild. Along with her husband, Mrs. WHEELER was preceded in death by two sons, E.J. WHEELER and Henry WHEELER Jr., and a daughter, Juanita WHEELER.

Graveside services for former Crescent resident, William Sigle WOLFE, Jr., 84, of Giddings, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Crescent Cemetery, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home. Rev. Rob McElroy will officiate. He was born May 6, 1905 in Wannette to William Sigle WOLFE, Sr. and Fannie HENSON. He died February 11 at Lee County Hospital in Giddings, Texas. He married Mary Emma GALLGER October 21, 1924. She died in 1959. He is survived by three sons, Charles, Nick and Don; a sister, Dovie; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, four sisters and two grandchildren.

Graveside services for Cresteen HAMILTON, 55, of Enid, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Guthrie, under the direction of the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home of Enid. Rev. T. Arnold Davis officiated. Mrs. HAMILTON was born February 28, 1934 in the Lovell-Crescent area. She died February 12 at her home, following a period of ill health. Mrs. HAMILTON is survived by a son, Tom; a daughter, Patty; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Graveside funeral services for Ada B. MARTIN, 87, of Guthrie, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Summit View Cemetery. Rev. Gus Martin will officiate the ceremony under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Ada was born on July 19, 1902, in Board Camp, Arkansas, to William and Mollie DURHAM. She died February 13, 1990 in Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, Earl and his wife, Johanne, and James; a daughter, Louise and her husband, Bill; a brother, Ed and his wife, Gracie; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, and two sons.

Funeral services for Mary Alta WOLF, 83, of Crescent, will be held Saturday 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Crescent. Rev. Mark Lemarr will officiate the ceremony. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, northeast of Crescent, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home. She was born April 3, 1906 in Pauls Valley to Clyde and Nannie GREEN. She died February 15 at Crescent Care Center. Mrs. WOLF was married to James WOLF, Sr., on April 8, 1927 in Norman. He preceded her in death in 1967. She is survived by three sons, John H., James F.Jr., and Aubery H.; five daughters, Myrtle M., Mildred, Maudie, Mary Lucille, and Martha B.; a sister, Pauline; a brother, Chester; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, a daughter, two brothers and six sisters.

Graveside services for Nina Florence "CHERRY" DETRICK, 98, of Guthrie, will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Tahlequah City Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. She was born on April 10, 1891 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma Territory, to Ruffus and Mary Emma (BOYD) McCOLLUN. She died February 15 at the New Masonic Home, in Guthrie. She is survived by a daughter, Mary K.; a son, C.Q.; a sister, Mary; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral services for Dr. Sunie Madge LEWIS, 79, of Belton, Texas, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Heartfield Funeral Chapel in Belton. Brother Andy Davis and Dr. Leroy Kemp will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Heartfield Funeral Home, Belton, Texas. Dr. LEWIS was born on July 16, 1910 in Abilene, Texas, to Wiley Everett LEWIS and Flora Madge LEWIS. She died February 15 in a Temple, Texas hospital. Survivors include four sisters, Eva Lou, Wilma Inez, Sara Elizabeth and Lysbeth; she is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ruth Agnes PAYNE, 74, of Guthrie, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Davis Funeral Chapel. Pastor Herb Ham, Jr., will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 16, 1916 in Perkins. She died February 16, at her home in Guthrie. She married Lee B. PAYNE, Sr., on November 4, 1933 in Guthrie. Mrs. PAYNE is survived by five sons, Lee Jr., Larry, Gary, Richard B., and Adron; three daughters, Betty, Patsy and Rosetta Diane; 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Dr. Dennis Clark will officiate with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery, in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. CHEATHAM was born September 27, 1925 in Verden, Okla. to Harry and Maebelle LINN. She died February 18 at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She married Clyde CHEATHAM February 12, 1945 in Providence, R.I. She is survived by her husband, Clyde, of the home; a son, Linn; two daughters, Pam and Cathy; her mother, Maebelle; two brothers, H.A."Cotton" and Ira; a sister, Dorothy; and four grandchildren. Mrs. CHEATHAM was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and a grandchild.

Funeral services for Pamela Ann CHENAULT COLETRAIN were held Feb. 3 in the Mount Zion AME Church, Florence, South Carolina. Rev. Julius McAllister officiated the ceremony. She died Jan. 31, 1990 after a short illness at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, New York. She was born April 28, 1959 in Sweetwater, Texas, to First Sargeant Wilber Roy and Cora CHENAULT. She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband, Marion COLETRAIN; a son, Corey; her mother, Cora; and stepfather, Stancy; her mother-in-law, Rosa; three sisters-in-law, Brenda, Joy and Brenda; three brothers-in-law, Donald, Larue and Charles; maternal grandmother, Alma; and paternal grandmother, Marion.

Funeral services for Ray Edward MURPHY, 73, of Guthrie, are pending today at Davis Funeral Home in Guthrie. He was born Dec. 16, 1916 in Guthrie to Edgar J. And Minnie (CUTLER) MURPHY. He died Feb. 20 in Mercy Health Center, Oklahoma City. He was married to Mabel Jean BOYD on Jan. 6, 1940. Survivors include his wife, Mabel, of the home; two sons, Jerry and James; a daughter, Judy; a brother, Glen H.; a brother-in-law, Adrian; 11 grandchildren and two great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Funeral services for Eula May WILSON, 89, of Guthrie were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Davis Funeral chapel. Rev. Charles Ragland officiated at the ceremony. Burial was in Westhaven Memorial Cemetery, in Shawnee, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. WILSON was born May 1, 1900 in Tina, Mo. to W.W. and Ora "Grant" ALLEN. She died Feb. 17 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She married George Thomas WILSON May 1, 1916 in Dahinda, Ill. Her survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jim J. and Laura; daughter-in-law, Juanita; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. WILSON was preceded in death by her parents in death by her parents, husband and son, Harry W. WILSON, Sr.

Masonic funeral services for James Edgar "Edd" LARRICK, of Colorado Springs, Colo., will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens. Mr. LARRICK was born March 30, 1897. He died February 20 at Veterans Hospital. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Harold; two grandsons and four great grandchildren. Mr. LARRICK was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Edens LARRICK in 1984, his parents and one son.

Funeral services for Earl L. SMITH, 76, of rural Geary, will be held Friday at 2 p.m., at the First Christian Church in Geary. Kassie Bellinger will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Geary Cemetery under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Geary. He was born Sept. 12, 1913, on a farm east of Geary to Earnest and Edith (HINGER) SMITH. He died Feb. 21, at his home. He married Billie Jean SQUIRES on Dec. 7, 1935 in Watonga, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean, of the home in Geary; a son, Don, and his wife, Patty; two granddaughters; two sisters, Adah and Alma; a brother, Roscoe; two nieces, Judy and Martha Sue; two nephews, Meredith and Tommy; he was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Karen Jean SMITH.

Word has been received of the death of former Guthrie resident Fred Eyssell REVIS Jr., of North Bend, Oregon, on Feb. 22, 1990. He was born in Wilder, Idaho, to Fred Eyssell REVIS, Sr. and Mabel (WILLSON) REVIS on Jan. 3, 1926. He married Margaret Ann (Margie) SUTTON on Jan. 15, 1945. She preceded him in death in Aug. 1988. He is survived by a daughter, Tamara Jo; two sons, David and Fred W.; and nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; he is also survived by a sister, Marie; and two brothers, Leo and Jim.

Funeral services for Kathleen Ethel TURNER, 97, of Guthrie, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Stephen Dixon will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery., Lincoln, Kansas during 2 p.m. Graveside services there on Tuesday. Arrangements will be directed by Smith Funeral Home. Kathleen was born on March 15, 1892, in Yorktown, Kansas, to Richard and Cora Lyster. She died Feb. 20, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She is survived by a son, Dean; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph TURNER, in 1975; her first husband, Chauncey BARRINGER, in 1935; a daughter and seven brothers and sisters.

Mervin M. GRAY, 70, Guthrie resident, died Thursday, Feb. 22, at his residence after a long illness. Mr. Gray was born Sept. 17, 1919 in Mulhall to John and Zeffie GRAY. Mr. GRAY married Marjorie GORE, Feb. 15, 1943 in Guthrie. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, of the home; a son, John and his wife, Sheere; a step-father, Almer; and a stepbrother, Michael.

Funeral services for Kathleen Ethel TURNER, 97, of Guthrie, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Stephen Dixon will officiating the ceremony. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lincoln Cemetery in Lincoln, Kansas. Arrangements will be directed by Smith Funeral Home. Kathleen was born on March 15, 1892, in Yorktown, Kansas, to Richard and Cora Lyster. She died Feb. 20, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She is survived by a son, Dean; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Turner, in 1975; her first husband, Chancey BARRINGER, in 1935; a daughter, and seven brothers and sisters.

Fred Williams will officiating the ceremony and burial will be in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery near Crescent. He was born July 18, 1915 in Crescent to William and Bertha (DAVIS) HENNING. He died Feb. 26, 1990 in Logan Hospital and Medical Center, Guthrie. He married Helen Irene PAYNE on April 16, 1944 in Guthrie. She preceded him in death, June 15, 1983. Survivors include two sons, Troy and Kenneth; three daughters, Sharon, Connie and Alieda; a brother, Herman; three sisters, Ollie, Mary and Hazel; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In additon to his wife, Mr. HENNING was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, two half-brothers and four half-sisters.

Funeral services for Dorcas S. HOLLINGSWORTH, 89, of Oklahoma City, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pollard's Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. J.D. Disbrow, of Holy Family Episcopal Church, in Langston will officiate at the service. Mrs. HOLLINGSWORTH was born July 30, 1900 at Tuskegee, Ala., to Mr. and Mrs. MICHAEL B. Stevens. She died February 24, at St. Anthony Hospital, in Oklahoma City. She is survived by her sister, Frances; nieces and guardian Dr. Louise and Dr. S.B.; two nephews, Clarence and Ralph; several grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins. Mrs. HOLLINGSWORTH was preceded in death by husband, five sisters and brothers and her parents.

Funeral services for Grace L. LUNNON, 78, of Cashion, were held at 10 a.m. today at the United Methodist Church in Cashion Methodist Church in Cashion. Rev. Jim Jones officiated the service and burial was in Cashion Cemetery, under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home, of Edmond. Mrs. LUNNON was born September 24, 1911, in Guthrie, to Joseph and Estelle BAUGHN. She died February 25 in Edmond. Mrs. LUNNON is survived by her daughter, Jeanine; sister, Myrtle; three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elba Allen LUNNON, in 1974, and her son Allen LUNNON in January 1990.

Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Summit View Cemetery. Mr. FARROW was born September 8, 1935 in Guthrie to Nomie and Helen "BLAIR" FARROW. He died February 27 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He married Carrol MINGS April 22, 1982 in Alva. Mr. FARROW is survived by his wife, Carrol, of Guthrie; his mother, Helen; his father, Nomie R.; one son, Raymond Lee; stepson, Harold; stepdaughter, Mrs. Brian; two brothers, Harvey and Mike; two sisters, Evelyn and Pat; and five step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
