Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Nazarene church for Mrs Rhodie TUCKER, of Pumpkin Center, who died yesterday morning following an attack of apoplexy. Rev W.B.WALKER officiated at the service, arrangements being in charge of the Buffington Brothers funeral directors. Internment was made at the South Heights cemetery.

CARVER BURIAL IS HELD TODAY

Funeral services for William M Carver, 75 years of age, will be held this afternoon at the home five miles south of Sapulpa. Burial will be made in the Mounds Cemetery, with Rev. C.B. James, pastor of the First Christian church officiating.
Mr. Carver died last night at his home following an illness since last April. He has been a resident of around this city for the last twenty-five years. Mr. Carver's occupation was farming. He is survived by his wife and eight children, five sons and three daughters. The sons are Jesse Carver, Sam Carver, Frank Carver and Tom Carver all of this city. The daughters are Mrs. Minnie Guinn and Anna Christian of this city and Mrs. Nettie Nails of Collinsville.

Former Bristow Groceryman Dies

W.M. BESS, former Bristow groceryman died last night at Bristow at the age of 79 following an illness of sometime. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Lewis and Landruth funeral home. Rev. E.D. Simpson will preach the funeral sermon. Burial will be made at the South Heights cemetery. BESS is survived by three sons, Fred BESS of this city, J.H. of Stroud, and George of Jenks. One daughter of Coffeyville, Kansas also survives.

CRAWFORD RITES ARE HELD TODAY

Funeral services for George Crawford, age 46, WPA worker living near Mounds, who was fatally injured when hit by a car in Mounds, Sunday night and died yesterday morning at one o'clock in the city hospital, were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Pentecostal church at Mounds.
Crawford had lived near Mounds for more than 20 years.
He is survived by the widow, five children, Alice, Buster, Pauline, Ola and Bill Crawford, of the home address.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon in Kellyville for C. W. Dawson, 93, who died early today in his home tow and one-half miles southeast of Kellyville.

ALBERT C. GUINN DIES LAST NIGHT AT HIS HOME HERE

Albert Claude Guinn, 66, died at his home at 13 1/2 E. Hobson last night. Mr. Guinn was born in Protem, Mo. April 27, 1887 and had been a resident of Sapulpa for the past 34 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Guinn; two sons, Floyd and Jesse, both of Sapulpa; two daughters, Mrs. Jim Turner and Mrs. James Rankin, both of Sapulpa; 15 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dave Sanders of Collinsville; two brothers, Jim of Kellyville and Eugene of Tulsa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Owen-Landrith chapel and interment will be at South Heights cemetery.

MRS EMMA CRAWFORD DIES LAST NIGHT IN CLAREMORE HOSPITAL

Mrs. Emma Crawford, 57, died last night at Claremore Indian hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray Luster of Beggs, Mrs. Richard Fagan of Sapulpa; three sons, Laurence and Ola of Sapulpa and John V. of Tulsa, A stepmother, Mrs. Bebe Cumsey of Sapulpa; four sisters, Mrs. Leonard Bevenue, Mrs. Ema Grayson, Mrs. Robert Marsey and Suzanne Sapulpa, all of Sapulpa and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm at the Sapulpa Indian church on south Hickory, Saturday.
Burial will be in Mounds cemetery under the direction of Owen - Landrith funeral home.

GEORGE E DONALDSON DIES IN LOCAL HOSPITAL YESTERDAY

George Ewin Donaldson, 64, 742 N Hodge died in Bartlett Memorial hospital yesterday afternoon.
Mr Donaldson was born in Cassville, MO Mar 9, 1894. He came to Creek county with his parents when five years old. He had lived here since that time.
He had been an oil field worker and was with the state highway department.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Donaldson; three sons, Harold, Rev. Bob, both of Sapulpa, Harley of York, Neb. two daughters, Mrs. Lois Brannon of Tulsa, Mrs. Bessie Guinn of Sapulpa; 15 granchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John of Mounds, Clarence of Oakland, Calif.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Owen funeral home chapel with Rev. A. T. Bilbo officiating. Burial will be in the Mounds cemetery.

JESSE A GUINN DIES OF ILLNESS

Jesse A Guinn of route 4, Sapulpa, died Saturday in St. Francis Hospital, following a short illness. He was born in Collinsville and had lived in the Sapulpa area most of his life.
He had been a roofing contractor for 40 years before retiring in 1968.
Survivors include his wife, Zola, of the home; ten children, Donald Guinn, Ronald Guinn, Richard Guinn and Roger Guinn, all of Sapulpa, Jesse Guinn Jr., Douglas Guinn and Gene Guinn all of Kellyville, Mrs Betty Harper of Kellyville, Mrs. Mary Howard of Jennings and Miss Linda Guinn of Sapulpa; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Guinn of Kellyville, 28 grandchildren and two greatgranchildren, also a sister, Mrs Elvie Turner of Kellyville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Owen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard Allen officiating. Interment will be in South Heights cemetery.

She was born Apr 2, 1912 in Kellyville and had lived in the area all her life. The widow of Robert T. Parker was a member of Westside Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters Patsy STRONG, Sue SPEARS, Shirley ADAMS, Kay COCHRAN and Linda VICTORY; five sons, Robert, Dennis, James, Dan and Mike Parker; sisters, Nora HURST, Opal LONG, Orabelle BOLIN and Maude PIERCE; five brothers Clyde ROMINE, Floyd and Jack Romine, Bobby Romine and Walter Romine.
Interment in Kellyville Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Alice E. Luster of 409 E Fern died Sunday morning at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, following an extended illness. She was born May 21, 1917 in Mounds and had lived in the Sapulpa-Mounds area all her life. She was a Baptist.
Surviving are her husband, Ray C. Luster Sr. of the home; four sons, Ray C Luster Jr of Mounds, Roy M Luster and Charles E. Luster of Sapulpa, and Bob G Luster of Yukon; one daughter, Janie Guinn of Kellyville; 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
Also surving are three brothers, L.G. Crawford of Sapulpa, O.L. Crawford of Mounds, and John Vernon Crawford of St. Louis, MO; and one sister, Pauline Fagen of Mounds.
Funeral services for Mrs. Luster have been set for Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Owen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Partridge officiating. Interment and committal prayers will be follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will headquarter at the home of Charles Luster, 407 E. Fern.
Serving as casket bearers will be grandsons, Michael Ray Luster, Richard Luster, Jess Guinn, George Guinn, Steve Guinn and James Ray Luster.

Kellyville - Jesse Albert Guinn 47, of Kellyville died Sunday at Bartlet Memorial Medical Center.
Services will be at 2pm Wednesday at Owen Funeral Chapel.
Cremation will follow the service.
He was born Sept 13, 1938 in Sapulpa. He was a car salesman and worked for Green Operating Co. He was an Army veteran of the Korean war.
He is survived by sons Steve, Jesse, George and John of Sapulpa; brothers Donald and Ronald of Sapulpa, Douglas, Harold and Richard of Kellyville and Roger of Drumright; sisters Mary Brokus and Betty Harper of Kellyville and Linda Guinn of Sapulpa; and one grandchild.

Edith Ola WILSON, 81, died Thursday. Burial in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Wilson was born Feb 21 1911 in Sapulpa and lived here all her life. Member of the Radiant Chapter of the Eastern Star, the DAR and the First Church of God.
She was married to Lester Wilson on Dec 20, 1928 in Bristow, who preceded her on Mar 22, 1952. She was preceded in death by son Chester Wilson on Mar 22, 1922 and daughter Leora Ann Wilson on Sep 11 1944, as well as parents Gus and Matihilda [sic] MCINTIRE.
She is survived by sons Lester , Kenneth and Larry; daughters Gracie MAYBERRY,  Majorie WALTER, and Sand Carol LIVINGSTON; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Kellyville - James Carman RALSTON, 77, Kellyville, died Thursday at his home.
Services will be 2pm Saturday at Kellyville First Baptist Church... Burial will be at Kellyville City Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
Mr. Ralston was born Feb 26, 1913, in Kellyville and lived there all his life. He was a self-emplyed farmer for many years. He married Kate TOMLINSON on Jul 18, 1978, in Kellyville.
Survivors include wife Kate; son Billy Joe Ralson, daughters Mable VANZANT, Ella COOPER and Lucille RIPPY; brother Harvey Ralston; sisters Dorothy MAYBERRY and Nevada COOPER, Ella GELLER, and Veleta GEORGE; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Ellis Lee Schlosser, 56, of Mannford, died Wednesday in Mannford.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Monday in the Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bob Hough officiating.

Burial will follow in South Heights Cemetery.
He was born Jan 30, 1936, in Sapulpa, and married Joyce Wilson in Sapulpa on Mar 17, 1972. He moved to Mannford and drove a truck for Groendyke Transport. The company gave him and award for one million accident-free miles the day before his death.

Mr. Schlosser was a life member of the National Rifleman's Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a member of the Lakeview Christian Church.

Survivors include wife Joyce; daughter Kimberly of Mannford; brother Jess Schlosser of Terlton; and sister Kitty Webster of Grove City, Pa.

The family will headquarter at 106 Lake Country, Mannford.

Albert D. (Buck) ARCHER, 86, 310 W. Taft, died Saturday in Tulsa.
Burial will be at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
Casketbearers will be Dal Archer, Brandon Cole, Kenny Pack, and Bobby, Boyce and Kenneth Wayne MCCLAIN. Honorary will be Bruce McClain, Glen Webster, and Fred POUNDS.
Mr. Archer was born Jul 4, 1905, at Shady Point, Indian Territory [now LeFlore Co., OK]. He moved to Sapulpa in 1907 from Shady Point. He married Edna SHIRLEY in Dec 1937 in Muskogee. He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church and an avid gardener.
Survivors include wife, Edna; son Albert; daughters Marie HANEY and Helen PACK, Patsy MCAUGHLY, and Helen HULSE; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Servies for Maudie ROMINE RILEY, 79, Kellyville, will be held at 2pm today at the Kellyville Free Holiness Church.
Interment will follow at Kellyville City Cemetery. Hutchins Maples Funeral Homes, Bristow is in charge of arrangements. Riley died Tuesday in Tulsa.
She married Charles Romine in 1933. He preceded her in death.
Surviving is her second husband, Kenneth Riley.
Other survivors include daughters Helen and Sue, OK and a son, Will Romine, CA; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

O. L. Crawford, 68, of Mounds, died Saturday at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday, at Spivey Funeral Chapel in Mounds with Rev. B. G. Garrett officiating.

Burial will follow at Mounds City Cemetery under the direction of Spivey Funeral Home in Mounds.

He was born May 9, 1924, in Mounds, the son of George and Emma Cumsey Crawford. He was a World War II veteran.

Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by his father in 1936, his mother in 1955 and one sister, Alice Luster in 1983.

Survivors include brothers, Lawrence (Buster) Crawford of Sapulpa, John (Bill) Crawford of St. Louis, Mo.; and a sister, Pauline Fagen of Mounds.

Casketbearers will be Mr. Crawford’s nephews.

Minnie Ethel Guinn, 98, Kellyville, died Friday in Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home Hapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.
Burial will be in South Heights Cemetery.
Guinn was born March 29, 1894 in Morgan County, Missouri to WIlliam and Sara Carver.
She was married to Albert Claude Guinn in July 1912 in Owasso.
Guinn was a homemaker and resided in Sapulpa until her move to Kellyville in 1974. She was a member of the Baptist chruch, and was an avid quilter and rug-maker.
Guinn was preceeded in death by her husband in 1953; two sons, Floyd and Jesse, and a daughter, Ethel Rankin.
Survivors include daughter Elva Turner, Kellyville, 16 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 57 great-great grandchildren.

James Rodney (Rod) BLAIR, 39, was involved in an automobile accident Tuesday, October 20, 1992, in Houston, TX. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Blair was born September 1, 1953 and lived in the Sapulpa area most of his life. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1971, and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1975... His home was in Houston.
Survivors are his wife Kerstin, daughter Courtney, and son Cody.
Rodney is the son of James E. Blair and wife Sheri and his mother Annabell JORDAN and husband, David of Broken Arrow. He has one sister, Rita; niece River and nephew Noah and grandmother Leona CRYDER and Lottie BLAIR . Other survivors include his mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. MUEB and a sister-in-law, Christiana of Bad Nauheim, Germany. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home and will be Monday at Kiefer Christian Church. Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Garden.

She was born July 30, 1897, in Madison Co. AR. She married Horace Geddins Romine on May 29, 1920 in Mozarn, AR.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Horace Leon Romine.

Edna ARCHER, 83, died Thursday. Burial is to follow at the Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Archer was born March 30, 1910 in Iowa. She was a Sapulpa resident since 1920 and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Lottie Clora BLAIR, 88, 13 E. Goodykoontz, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1994 at her home.
Services will be 2pm Friday at Kiefer Christian Church... Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sapulpa, directed by Owens Funeral Home.
She was born Aug. 4, 1906 in Ousley County, KY to William J. and Ellen STRONG CONRAD. She married Otis Lee Blair Jan 9, 1927 in Kiefer. She was a resident of Sapulpa since 1909, coming from Kentucky...
Survivors include her children, Lee Edward Blair, Prattville, James Elbert Blair, Sapulpa, and Zeldena COOPER, Sapulpa; seven granchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis, in 1975, her grandaughter, Alison Lynn Blair in 1989 and grandson, James Rodney Blair in 1992....

GRAYSON

Ema Grayson, 80, of Route 2, Sapulpa, died Saturday, March 9, 1996 at American Transitional Hospital.

Prayer services will be at 7 pm Monday in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Earl Dunson officiating. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday in the Pickett Chapel Indian Methodist Church with the Revs. Jake Wildcat and Jerry Baker officiating. Smith Funeral Home will direct burial in Cumsey Cemetery.

Mrs. Grayson was born July 13, 1915 in Sapulpa to Lewis and Babie Crow Cumsey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Picket Chapel Indian Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husgand, Nochey Grayson; her parents, two brothers Jackson Barnett and Loley Barnett, and a sister, Mary Bevenue.

Survivors include a sister, Maggie Marsey of Sapulpa, seven nieces and six nephews.

Tresia Jean PARKER of Sapulpa, died Friday at the age of 48.
Tresia was born Oct 30, 1947 in Sapulpa. She was raised in California and moved back to Sapulpa in 1964. She was married to Jim Parker on July 30, 1965 in Sapulpa. She was a member of the Westside Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Jim; father and step mother, Gene and Wanda MARCHUM; mother and step father, Annie and John MORRIS; son Jim K., daughter Angela GOODWIN;  3 grandchildren; Brothers, Ricky and Dennis Marchum; sisters Judy MITCHELL and Lori GRINTER; step brothers, John and Jerry MORRIS.
Interment will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Michael Turnham of Broken Arrow, died June 19, 2001. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Turnham, of Sapulpa. He is survived by his wife Cathy and son Zachary, of Broken Arrow, a daughter, Rachel, of Norman, his mother, Lola Turnham, of Sapulpa, brothers Patrick, of Owasso and ,Daniel, of Sapulpa.
Services June 22, 2001 at Arrow Heights Baptist Church, Broken Arrow, OK at 10:00 am.

Elva Geneva Turner was born Dec. 29, 1916 to Claude Albert and Minnie Guinn. She passed away Wednesday Nov. 12, 2003 at her home in Kellyville.
Elva moved to Creek County from COllinsville as a small child. She was a Sapulpa and Kellyville resident all of her life. She spent many years working for Hissom Center in Sand Springs and the last few years as a senior companion.
Elva like to travel, play bingo and fish, and she especially loved to play cards. She was a bright spot in many lives. She loved to fuss over her children and grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Elva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jim Turner; brothers Floyd Guinn and Jessie Guinn; sister Ethel Rankin; his daughter and son-in-law Donna and Jerry Long, of the home; stepson Jack and his wife, Doris Turner; stepdaughters Marna and her husband, J.E. Robinson and Keight an her husband, Bill Logan; six granchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special "thank you" to Janie Guinn, her traveling bingo and card playing buddy.
Funeral services for Elva have been set for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2003 in the Simth Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Kellyville Cemetery.
Serving as casketbearers will be grandsons Pete Long, Shorty Long and Gary Turner, great-grandson Chea Long and great-nephews Terry Lytle and James Scott.
Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will headquarter at the home of Donna and Jerry Long in Kellyville.
