QUERY: I am looking for family history on my parental grandmother. Her maiden name was Cordelia Brown. She married Clarence Elliott and they lived in Oregon but I understand that either she or her family came from Oklahoma. She was from a large family but I only know the names of some of her brothers, Coy, and Calvin. Her sister, Virginia George, died a few years ago. She had two children, Robert Alden Elliott Sr. and Francis Rice. Cordelia was part Cherokee. Does anyone have information?

QUERY: We are engaged in the research of the MAYS Family of Marion County, AL. In the late 1890's or early 1900's, Elias T. MAYS & his family setteled in Choctaw County, OK. His sister, Jane MAYS lived there, too. We do not know her married name. She was widowed & her only child died young. She took turns staying with Eli's familiy & another relative who lived in Bryan, County until Eli died. She then stayed with the relative in Bryan County. This is old history, & a very fortunate thing to get a response, based upon very little information. I will update this querie as I discover more information. Thank-you. Beth

QUERY: I am researching the family of Moses S. SKEEN and Alice A. HAINES (HAYNES). Moses (b. 13 June 1862; d. 19 Jan. 1945) was married to Alice HAINES (b. 13 Jan. 1872; d. 18 Dec. 1904). They were married 29 Jan. 1888 in Fannin Co., Texas. They had seven children; Oscar, Mary (Dollie), Rose, Andrew Jackson, Moses, John Henry, and Isom. Andrew was born 28 Dec. 1895 (?1896) somewhere in the Choctaw Nation. Andrew was my maternal grandfather. The family lived in the Wright City, Hugo, Valliant, Durant, Alikchi areas.
