Wacaser, applied for a
pension in 1923 and listed 2
sisters living in Caddo Co., OK
as references. The sisters were
Virginia Caroline Hayner
and Francis Ann Gordon.
Francis may have been married to
a Carr earlier. They were
daughters of James E. Ball
who moved to Newton, Co., Mo
about 1867. I would be very
interested in hearing from anyone
with more information on these
families.

Mattie M. Kelley, at one
time, was married to my
ggrandfather, James Croford Phillips.
I believe Kelley was bured
at Hazel Dell Cemetery in
Anadarko. I have no idea as to
her date of death, but believe
she lived to be quite old.

Looking for any info on William Spearman
and wife Sallie (possibly Sarah)
. They were in Bowie TX @ 1884
and moved to Gracemount Oklahoma
soon after 1884. They had at
least one child, Walter Samuel Spearman
. William died sometime before
1920 and Sallie was living with
son, Walter in OKC in the 1920
census. She was listed as Sarah Boazman
on the census. Family folklore is
she had remarried??? Any
information would be appreciated.
Walter may have had a half
sister. Wiliam and Sallie may
have been in LA before they were
in TX.

I am looking for any information
on Sadie Bell Cannon Mobley.
Sadie Bell was my great
grandmother on my Mothers side.
Her and her sister Tressie
attended the Kiowa Mission
School. (I believe it was located
outside of Anadarko.) I think
their father was William Cannon,
on the census card I found it
shows them to be living in their
household. It also shows him to
be part Cherokee. I am also
looking for anyone who knows
anything about the Belcher's and
Hopewell Cemetery. I have two
uncles and a great uncle buried
there. My grandmother's name was
Anna Mae Belcher and my
grandfather's name was Virgil Mobley.
He sometimes went by a nickname
"Cat". He worked in
some sort of program where they
took a bus to Mt. Scott and built
the road up it. I would love to
hear any information any one has
or anyone who remembers my
family. Also I would like to find
out all I can about the Kiowa
Mission School. My grandfather
had his Indian papers but
evidently he burnt everything
when he was young.

I am looking for information
concerning the resting place of
my great grandfather Jason Blalock.
He is listed on the 1910 census
in Beckham county with my
grandfather Pink Blalock.
On the 1920 census for Caddo
county, only Pink is listed. My
great grandmother is buried in
Beckham county. I had the Vital
statistics office look for Jason
in Beckham county but they could
not locate him there. It is
possible that he is buried in
Caddo county where His son was
living in 1920 in the North
Lathrum area. Any information
would be greatly appreciated. I
believe he passed away between
1910 and 1920.

On November 30, 1916 a Quit Claim
Deed was notarized in Caddo
County by Will and Janie Youts.
Janie (legal name: Mary Jane) was
born to John Lent &
Elizabeth Gold Lent,
July 1891 (s: 1900 census) in
Union Twp Stone County, Missouri.
Her father died approximatly
February 1901 and a few years
later the four children were
taken from their mother and
separated. Family story always
said that Janie "went to
live with a nice German
family." This Quit Claim
Deed, in which she is selling her
share of her father's farm to her
uncle James Gold, is the
first evidence we have found that
may give us more clues about
Janie's life. Any and all clues
and help will be appreciated.

My grandfather, John Joshua
Leazenby was born 20-June-1917 in
Stecker, Caddo Co, OK. His mother
was Era Toka Smith Orr
Leazenby, married to Joshua
Walter Leazenby
29-Aug-1914, also in Stecker. Era
was married to a Mr. Orr
(possibly from Stecker or Apache)
and had one son: C. E. (Charlie).
I have a copy of Era and J.W.'s
marriage certificate, John
Joshua's birth and death
certificate, and a copy of J.W.'s
will. J.W. had two sons from a
previous marriage to a Lily
unknown: Walter F. (he moved to
Caddo Co. in 1900) and James
Mark. A probate of the will also
lists a Mrs. S. M. Burr of
Caddo Co., deceased as of 1910. I
am wodering if she was the mother
of J. W. Leazenby's first
wife, Lily. Any information on
any of these families would be
greatly appreciated.

Have a relative that i think was

was Clarissa Elizabeth Lizzie Cox,
she was born 1880 she had a
brother William Major Cox
he was born 1884. She is on the
1900 census for Indian Territory
in the Choctaw area in Eufaula OK
married to my Otho Vaught..she
listed Ohio as her birth place
but death certificate says Caddo,
Anadarko, OK since Otho and
family lived in Texas and Indian
Territory from 1876-1920 i would
have to say that OK birth place
looks better. Since she was
married with children in 1900--i
can't find her parents....family
stories say mother died either
from Indian attack or childbirth
(i think later) and father gave
children to someone else to
raise...Lizzie may have been
given to a paster's family. I am
at a loss as to how to find her
parents--can any one help
me?????? or at least point me in
the right direction..... She died
in Texas and her husband died in
OK they were separted in later
years---could not figure out why
Otho is living in Pauls Valley OK
and wife and children in TX but
now one knows-----there has to be
family somewhere
