The Obit of Josiah Long
Canadian Co., Oklahoma
El Reno Tribune - Aug 14, 1934 Yukon, Aug 4 - Josiah Long 89 years old, died
at his home in Yukon early Sunday morning after a few days
illness.
Mr. Long came to Oklahoma from Kansas about forty years
ago and has
lived in this vicinity most of the time
since.
Survivors are the widow of the home, a son, Arthur Long, of
Colfax
Washington; four sisters, Mrs. Rosetta Wray of Yukon, Mrs. Pratt
of Ohio;
Mrs. Ellen Jones, of Pratt, Kansas; Mrs. Vira Patterson,
Wichita, Kansas; two
brothers, Wallace of Wilmington, Ca. and Will of
Finley, Ohio
Funeral services were conducted at Turner Funeral home
Tuesday morning
at 9 o'clock. Burial was in the Yukon
Cemetery.
