MRS. M'LAUGHLIN SUCCUMBS TODAY
Funeral Services Planned Here Wednesday,  Rites for Mrs. Tom McLaughlin, 63,
who died Monday morning at her home, 400 North Rock Island avenue, following
10 months illness from paralysis, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the
First Baptist church.  Rev. Holmes Nichols, former pastor and Rev. J. W.
Hodges, pastor, will conduct the services after which internment will be in
the El Reno cemetery, it was announced from the Benson funeral home.  Mrs.
McLaughlin had resided in El Reno since 1906 and was a member of the Ladies
Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen as well as the Women's
Benefit association.  She is survived by the husband, a retired Rock Island
brakeman; a son, Charlie McLaughlin of El Reno; two daughters, Mrs. Nora
Trotter of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Gussie Walker of Dodge City, Kan.  There
also are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mason of Salina, Kan. and Mrs. Ed Dunlap of
Clinton, Mo., and three brothers, John, Robert and Roy Patterson of Clinton,
as well as 15 grandchildren.

DIES OF PARALYSIS
Minnie G. McLaughlin, wife of Thos. S. McLaughlin, died Monday at her home
at 400 North Rock Island after an illness of ten months from paralysis.  She
was born October 09, 1872 at Van Buren, Iowa.  In addition to the husband
survivors include three children.  Mrs. Gussie Walker of Dodge City, Kans.,
Mrs.  Nora Trotter of Oklahoma City and Charlie M. McLaughlin of El Reno.
She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mason of Salina, Kans. Mrs. Ed Dunlap
of Trenton, Mo., and three brothers, John, Rober and Roy all of Trenton, Mo.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Baptist church
by Rev. Holmes Nichols and Rev. J. W. Hodges, Internment was made in the El
Reno cemetery.
