MRS. A. W. McGREGOR DEAD
Died on the morning of December first, at the home of her daughter Mrs. J.C.
Baggs, Mrs. A. W. McGregor, aged seventy five years. A woman possessing
all of the qualities that go to make a perfect wife and mother, than which there
is no higher praise. Mrs. McGregor has been a resident of El Reno for many
years, having three married daughters here--Mrs. H. K. Ricker, Mrs. J.
S. Warren and Mrs. J. C. Baggs, also a daughter in Texas, Mrs. C. F. Randolph,
who was at the bedside of her mother at her death. A son in
California was unable to reach El Reno before the sad end came. The
funeral services took place Tuesday afternoon at the First Baptist church, Rev.
Bullard officiating. Mrs. McGregor was a deviant Christian and a member of
the local Baptist church. The American extends sympathy to the bereaved
family.
