Here is a comprehensive listing of the cemeteries in Carter County, Oklahoma, as well as transcription of the headstones. Refer to the cemetery descriptions list for a numerical listing of all the cemeteries in the county. The number of the cemetery is important because it corresponds to the index in which a particular cemetery is listed. There are two lists: Index 1, and Index 2 . Rose Hill Cemetery has its own list of surnames. You then choose from surnames in either list to find the name you are looking for.
Carter County has 71 known cemeteries. If you know of one that is not listed in the listing linked above, please let us know.
