Alleged Forger Is Caught Here

Believe To Be Man Wanted In Sapulpa For Passing Checks.

...Frank Hasmer, an Indian, was arrested by Patrolman William Light, on a charge of forgery. Hasmer, it is alleged, forged a check for $55.50 at Sapulpa, I. T. four weeks ago... denies that he is guilty of the crime...

Sapulpa Bank Closes

Sapulpa, I.T., Nov. 12 - The Farmers and Merchants Bank of this city failed to open for business this morning. A notice posted on the doors stated that the bank would be closed pending a settlement of the affairs. R. B. Thompson, of this city has been named trustee and receiver and stated that the bank will be able to pay everything in full in a short time.
