BRISTOW – Mr. Herbert Abraham, 87, Bristow, died Tuesday. 

Services were today at the First Baptist Church, Bristow, with the Rev. Mike Estep officiating. 

Burial was at Bristow City Cemetery under the direction of Hutchinson-Maples Funeral Home, Bristow. 

Casket bearers were Paul Clark, David McCall, Gene Thompson, Chris Dunlap and Bill Berry. 

Mr. Abraham was a native of Bristow and was a former mayor of the community. 

He was a 1925 graduate of George Washington University School of Law in Washington and member of the Oklahoma Bar Association for 60 years. He also was a former Rotariam. 

Mr. Abraham was preceded in death by a sister Francile MOORE. 

Survivors include wife Katherine; daughter Carolyn THOMPSON of Bristow; son Herbert Tim of Broken Arrow; Brothers Jack of Bristow and Louis of Tulsa; Sister Pauline JACKSON of Bristow; and four grandchildren.
