Shirley S. Archer, 58 1624 Brittin Lane, Sapulpa, died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am, Monday at the First Baptist Church of Sapulpa with Rev. David Houchin officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Archer was born June 25, 1935 in Schulter, Okla and a Sapulpa resident since 1955. She married Truman Archer on Aug 10, 1952 in Ft. Smith Ark. Archer retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a member of Adult III Sunday school class, a member of the Democratic Women's Association and senior citizens bingo.

Survivors include husband Truman of the home; sons A. Ray and Randy Archer both of Sapulpa; sister Flotie Kochy of Martin, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Shirley Archer were to be held at 10:30 am today at the First Baptist Church with Rev. David Houchin officiating.

Casketbearers were to be James McDaniels, Jack Walters, John McClendon, F.L. Bradley, Gene Parnell, Phillip Naifch, Bill McLane, Emmitt Sewell and Eugene Dale.
