Armstrong Dies After Illness
Marion F. Armstrong, 56, 501 N. 2nd, died Thursday night at Bartlett
Memorial Hospital where he had been hospitalized 10 days.
He retired 10 years ago from Bartlett Collins Co., as a packer due to
ill health. He was born near Wagoner Jan 3, 1909, and was a member of
Kellyville Free Pentecostal church. He had lived in Sapulpa since 1942,
coming here from Kellyville.
Surviving are his wife, Nettie Geneva, of the home, a brother,
Chessie C. Armstrong, 1200 N. 8th; three sisters, Mrs. Nina Boyd, 408 N.
4th; Mrs. Maudie Romine, Kellyville; Mrs. Hazel Friend, 711 S. Oklahoma.
Funeral rites will be at 2:30 pm Saturday at Free Pentocostal church,
Kellyville. The Rev. Wilson Cooper will be assisted by the Rev. Vernie
Edwards. Interment will be in Kellyville Cemetery under direction of
Owen Funeral Home.
