Samuel Bostick Dies At Age 90
Samuel E. Bostick, 90, 10 N. Moccasin Pl., died Saturday morning at
Bartlett Memorial Hospital, where he had been hospitalized since March.
Born at Paint Rock, Tex., March 22, 1879, Bostick moved to Sapulpa in
1945 from Little Field, Tex. He was a retired farmer and member of First
Baptist Church.
He is survived for four sons, Walter W., Kellyville; Marvin H.,
Tulsa; Melvin C. and J.D., Odessa, Tex.; five daughters, Mrs. Maggie May
Smith, Chandler, Tex.; Mrs. Helen Alexander, Bay City, Tex.; Mrs. Ethel
Vann, Ft. Stockton, Tex.; Mrs. Dorothy Vanarsdel, Kiefer; Miss Florence
Bostick of the home; 21 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two
sisters, Mrs. Ollie Barrett, Davenport, Okla.; Mrs. Lucy Barrett,
Youcolla, Ore.
Owen Funeral Home will announce service arrangements.
