Marquetta Brooks, 48, of Tulsa, died Friday in Tulsa.

Funeral services are to be held at 2 pm today in the Hutchins-Maples Chapel with Pastor Chuck Scroggs officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home.

Brooks was born May 6, 1945 in Wewoka and married Travis Brooks on July 31, 1961 in Claremore. She attended Tulsa schools, loved animals, birds and nature and was a homemaker.

She is survived by husband Travis of the home; son Kenneth Brooks of Tulsa; mother Louise Robinson of Bristow; and brother Garland Robinson of Glenpool.
