Pearl Carlock Dies Thursday

Mrs. Pearl Carlock, 85, of 111 E. Goodykoontz, died here Thursday night.

Born March 24, 1890, she had been a Sapulpa resident since 1928. She was a member of First Church of God.

Survivors are six sons, Edward, of Selma, Calif., William F., of Bakersfield, Calif., John A., of Kingsburg, Calif., Carl R., of Fresno, Calif., Waldo, of 817 N. Elizabeth, and Lloyd E., of 802 N. Hodge; one daughter, Mrs. Helen L. McCall of Tulsa, 31 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending with Owen Funeral Home.

Pearl Carlock Rites Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Carlock, 85, of 111 E. Goodykoontz, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Owen Funeral Chapel with Rev. Merlin Mosher officiating, assisted by the Rev. E.R. Roberts.

Interment will be in *South Heights Cemetery under direction of Owen Funeral Home with the following grandsons serving as pallbearers: Clarence L. McCall, Gerald McCall, Donald McCall, James Carlock, Ronnie Carlock, Jim Carlock, Allen Carlock and Ricky Carlock.


*This was a mistake in the paper. She was buried beside her husband in Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Frank R. Carlock

Frank Ray Carlock, 72, 111 E. Goodykoontz, died at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa at 11 p.m. Monday.

Born in Crawford County, Ohio Jan. 27, 1891, he came to Sapulpa in 1927. He was a retired dock worker for Bartlett-Collins Glass company, retiring nine years ago.

Carlock was a member of the First Church of God.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Pearl Carlock, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. C. D. McCall, Tulsa; six sons, Waldo, 817 N. Elizabeth; Lloyd, Chickasha; Floyd, Bakersfield, Calif.; John, Kingsburg, Calif.; Edward, Selma, Calif.; and Carl, Fresno, Calif.

Other survivors are 26 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd Carlock, Gallion, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Davis, Mountian Home, Ark.; three half sisters and a half brother.

Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Owen Funeral chapel. Officiating will be Rev. George Arnold, First Church of God pastor.
Pallbearers will be Don Yarger, Travis Belk, Bill Holmes, Edgar McGuire, Gerald Williams and Jack Patty.

Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
