Ive Tennesse Franks, 76, of Bristow, died Saturday following a short illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church, Bristow, with Rev. Roland Tidwell officiating.

Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hutchins-Maples funeral Home, Bristow.

She was born March 20, 1916, in Reed’s Spring, Mo., and married Lee Franks on Dec 10, 1936. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1972. Mrs. Franks was a Bristow resident most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. Son Ulumn Franks also preceded her in death in August 1991.

Survivors include daughters Judith Haney of Sapulpa and Jaqueta Connell of Dover; son Eugene Franks of Macks Creek, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
