Truman Frank Goen, 85, of Oklahoma City, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1995,
in Amberwood Nursing Center in Oklahoma City.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home Chapel in
Sapulpa with the Rev. Phil Kerbo officiating. Burial will be in Green
Hill Cemetery, directed by Owen-Funeral Home.
Mr. Goen was born July 4, 1910 in Sapulpa to William Rosco and Laura
Bell Short Goen. He married Alice Grover on July 1, 1935 in Sapulpa.
He was a member of the June Rose Assembly of God Church in Sapulpa.
He retired as a machine operator for Liberty Glass Co. After 36 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1994, and by a daughter, Juanita
Hodge, in 1981.
Survivors include his son, Eugene Marcum of Desert Hot Springs, Calif;
two daughters, Coleta Smith of Sapulpa and Linda Lantz of Oklahoma City;
a brother, Melvin Goen of Tulsa; a sister, Essie Hull of Sapulpa; and
seven grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Sonny Smith, Tony Lantz, Dennis Marcum and Tray
Smith.
The family will be headquartered at the Coleta Smith home, Route 4,
north of Sapulpa the day of the service. Owen Funeral Home is in charge
of arrangements.

Services for Truman Frank Goen, 85, of Oklahoma City will be at 2:30
p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home Chapel.

Pall bearers will be Sonny Smith, Tony Lantz, Dennis Marcum, Tray Smith,
Jim Frazier and John Elledge.
Mr. Goen, a Sapulpa native, died Dec. 26 in Oklahoma City.
