William Fred "Ted" Herman, 82, of Bristow, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 1994 in Bristow. 

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hutchins-Maples Chapel with the Revs. Gene Jackson and Wayne Gemmill officiating. 

Burial will be at the Bristow City Cemetery under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home. 

Herman was born Feb. 13, 1912 in Bristow. He married Vivian Searcy Sept 24, 1938 in Tulsa. Herman graduated from Bristow High School in 1930. He was a retired Bristow City Clerk and a charter member of the Bristow Sportsmans Club. He founded the Bristow National Gun Show and enjoyed skeet shooting, quail and dove hunting and crow shooting. Herman was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Bristow. 

He was preceded in death by brother Taylor Herman

He is survived by his wife, Vivian, of the home; son Todd Herman of Broken Arrow; daughter Joyce McDaniel of Oilton; brother B.H. Herman of Bristow; sister Betty Hurst of Wagoner; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
