Linvill George HIGGINS, 85, Bristow, died Tuesday, March 21, 1995 in Bristow.

Services were today at Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home Chapel in Bristow with Rev. Glen Rice STROUD officiating. Burial was in Bristow City Cemetery, directed by Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home.

He was born March 3, 1910 in Okemah to George and Cora HIGGINS.

He attended Tuskegee schools. He was of the Free Will Baptist faith. He retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. as a heavy equipment operator in 1972 and had been a farmer. 

Survivors include his wife, Lillian HIGGINS, Bristow; a step-daughter, Judy BROWN, Piedmont; a sister, Betty CONWAY, Bristow ; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby GRAHAM.
