Mr. Vernon H. Hinton, 89, Mannford, died Saturday at his home. Services were today at the First Christian Church, Mannford, with the Rev. Bob Hough officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mannford, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Jan 2, 1899, in Iowa, and lived in Mannford for 79 years. Mr. Hinton was a farmer, pipefitter and oil field pumper. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 515 and the Guthrie Consistory.

Survivors include daughter Mrs. Harold (Maxine) Moore; son Jack; brothers Guy, Paul, and Phil; sister Christine Allen; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
