BRISTOW - Mr. Ira Lester (Les) Jones, 79, Bristow, died Saturday at Bristow Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 10 am Tuesday at the Freewill Baptist Church, Bristow, with the Rev. Millard McGuire officiating.

Burial will be at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home, Bristow.

Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of Creek County, and worked as a pipefitter and farmer.

He was a member of Pipefitters Union, and was past Noble Grand of Oddfellows in Kellyville.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, in 1983.

Survivors include sons Bert R. of Sioux Falls, S.D., W. M. "Bo" of Bristow and Daniel R. of Glenpool; daughter Leona Parker of Bristow; brothers Orval of Kellyville and Howard of Oklahoma City; sister Minerva Medley of Skellytown, Texas; 25 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
