Bonnie Lou Keeling, 73, of Bristow, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 1995.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Freewill Baptist Church of Bristow with the Rev. Gene Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Memorial Cemetery of Bristow, directed by Schumacher Funeral Home.

Mr. Keeling was born Aug. 15, 1922 in Antlers to Bluford F. and Mattie Lou Walker Keeling. He married Leona Faye “Toni” Russell on Jan. 21, 1949 in Newkirk.

He was a carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He is a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and the Sapulpa Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Keeling was preceded in death by a son, Tony Lee Keeling.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two son, Vicky Charles Keeling, and B.L. “Junior” Keeling, both of Sapulpa; two daughters, Dovie Fargo of Kellyville and Ramona Lambert of Sparwood, Canada; four brothers, R.C. Keeling of Tulsa, Aaron Keeling of Oklahoma City, Jim Keeling of Marysville, Calif., and Sig Keeling of Shamrock; two sisters, Evie Dunn of Bristow, and Odessa Osborn of Depew; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Correction

The obituary for Bonnie Keeling that appeared in the Dec. 5 issue of the Herald should have listed a surviving son, Vicky Charles Keeling, as a resident of the home instead of Sapulpa.
