Claude Ray Leverett, 93, died Monday, Sep 5, 1994.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10am Thursday at the Bristow City Cemetery with the Rev. Archie Rivers officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Hutchinson-Maples Funeral Home in Bristow.

Leverett was born May 22, 1901.

He married Violet MARK in 1952 in Las Vegas.

Leverett was a retired cotton gin foreman. After retirement he was an active rancher and farmer.

Leverett was preceded in death by his wife, Violet, on June 22, 1984 and stepson John MELCHER.

He is survived by daughter Sally KOCMICH of San Diego, CA ; step sons Stan Melcher of Camarilo, CA, Arlyn Melcher of Carbondale, IL, Ray Melcher of Phoenix, AZ and Leo Melcher of Ada; step daughters Constance BRAUM of Yuma, AZ and Lori BOYD of Ridgecrest, CA; brother Price Leverett; 31 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
