BRISTOW — Travis Lee Looney, 51, of Bristow, died Wednesday in Tulsa.

Services will be 10:30 am Saturday at First Baptist Church, Bristow, with the Rev. Wayne Gemmill officiating.

Burial will be at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home. 

Mr. Looney was born June 24, 1939, in Bristow and was a 1957 graduate of Bristow High School. He was employed as a plumber and pipefitter at Rockwell International for 25 years.

He was a member of the Bristow Elks Lodge #1614 and a UAW Local 952.

Survivors include wife Elva Giggs Looney of Sapulpa; mother Minnie Looney of Bristow; son Terry Looney of Broken Arrow; stepson Bryan Gibbs of Sapulpa; daughters Teresa Barnett of Bristow, Debbie Lewis of Sapulpa, Gina Belk of Kellyville; stepdaughter Monica Gibbs of Sapulpa; brother Ronnie Looney of Silver City; sister Faye Dotson of Bristow; and three grandchildren.
