BRISTOW — Mr. Farris Dee Lyman, 79, Bristow, died Monday at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.

Services will be 2 pm Friday at Sunrise Baptist Church, Kellyville, with the Rev. Bob Pendergrass officiating.

Burial will be at Bristow City Cemetery under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home, Bristow.

Mr. Lyman lived in the Bristow area most of his life. He was a painter, veteran of World War II and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.

Survivors include wife Loretta May of Bristow; step-daughter Alice Ann Sumpter of Oklahoma City; brother Ferrell of Bristow; sister Inabell Creekmore of Ozark, Ala.; one grand son; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
