Mr. Dan Odell, 85, 1223 E. Teresa Ave., died Saturday at home after an extended illness.
Services for Mr. Odell will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Herman Ging officiating.
Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
Mr. Odell was born Nov. 27, 1902, in Dalton, Ga., and moved to Sapulpa in 1909. He was a member of the Sapulpa First United Methodist Church.
He graduated from University of Missouri and University of Oklahoma's law school.
Mr. Odell served as Sapulpa's mayor, interim city manager, and 31 years as city attorney. He also served 39 years on the Board of Directors of Family Federal Savings Bank.
He also was a member of the Creek County Bar Association and owned a private practice in Sapulpa.
Survivors include wife Margaret; son Bill G. of Denver, and four grandchildren.
