Wayne Ragsdale, 87, Walnut Springs, Texas, died Saturday, April 8, 1995, in Clifton, Texas, hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday in the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian, Texas, with the Rev. Mark Anders officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Walnut Springs.
He was born Jan. 27, 1908 in the Black Stump community in Erath County, Texas.
On Jan. 1, 1938, he married Leona Pullin in Brownwood. She preceded him in death Dec. 7, 1985.
He farmed and ranched in the Walnut Springs area. He later worked for the Cleburne State Park and Cleburne School District as a maintenance supervisor. He retired in 1983. He was a member of the Walnut Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert Wayne Ragsdale, Sapulpa; a brother, Ray G. Ragsdale, Hamilton, Texas; a sister, Ada Deason, Glen Rose, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Scott Ragsdale, Gary Ragsdale, Silas Ragsdale, Larry Pullin, John Uloth, Ralph Uloth and Willard Deason.
