Ruth Elizabeth Rickman, 94, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1995 in Tulsa. 

Graveside rites will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bristow City Cemetery, directed by Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Pike officiating.

She was born July 9, 1901 in Mayfield, Ky., to Wesley and Mary Sullivan.

She married W. L. Rickman, who preceded her in death in 1950.

She graduated from high school in Mayfield in 1918, then attended Bowling Green University for a year. She was a member of First united Methodist Church where she was Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Bristow Garden Club and the Bristow Embroidery Club. She received a 50-year pin as a member of the P.E.O.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Searcy, Tulsa; a sister, Virginia Woodall, Clinton; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
