BRISTOW, Okla. — Alta Ruth Walker Self, 65, Bristow, died Wednesday, June 10, 1998, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa after a long illness.

Mrs. Self was born Sep 12, 1932, at Stella, Mo. She moved to Bristow in 1991, moving from Wyoming.

She married Darrel N. Self on Oct 8, 1952, at Huntsville, Ark. He survives.

Additional survivors include three sons, Bruce E. Self, Thermopolis, Wyo., Brett N. Self, Vernal, Utah, and William B. Self, Elco, Nev.; a brother, Harold Walker, Bristow; two sisters, Louise Thrasher and Velma Edens, both of Granby, Mo. and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.

Graveside services were June 13 at Sunrise Cemetery, Kellyville, Okla. The Rev. Chuck Scroggs officiated. Services were under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home, Bristow.
